Overview
BackUpUtil is a program designed to help the users of Windows to make backups of their My Favorites, My Documents and My Pictures folders (in some Windows versions My Documents may include My Webs folder). Backups are compressed and saved anywhere you want and the Restore of the backups will overwrite files with the same name. It was tested under Windows 95, NT and 2000. It is freeware, fast and hopefully useful.
Install/Uninstall
BackUpUtil doesn't need any special installation, however it is recommended that you create a folder (example c:\backuputil) and put there the executable file because, by default, the program will save and restore the backups in the same folder where it runs. To uninstall just delete the folder and the executable file. Every time you run BackUpUtil, be sure that you have entered a User name when you started Windows for the last time.
