 Mail Light (OCT/2002)

= Mail Light 1.0 = I wrote Mail Light because I needed to know if I had new mail with my monitor turned off. I didn't want beeps or other sounds in the middle of the night while I was working on another computer not connected to the Internet. Now, with Mail Light running in the connected computer, I only have to look at the Caps Lock light in its keyboard. If it is ON, I know I have mail to download from my mailbox. |

= BackUpUtil 1.0 = BackUpUtil is a program designed to help the users of Windows to make backups of their My Favorites, My Documents and My Pictures folders (in some Windows versions My Documents may include My Webs folder). Backups are compressed and saved anywhere you want and the Restore of the backups will overwrite files with the same name. It was tested under Windows 95, NT and 2000. It is freeware, fast and hopefully useful.. |

With RTLV you can watch almost any text style log file with a simple button click. RTLV can remember the 15 most recent logfiles that you have open. 08-Dec-03) XIU is a free encryption/decryption software for medium size text files (*.rtf, *.txt, *.htm, *.eml, etc). It creates encrypted text files by simply dragging and dropping them into the program's text section, icon or shortcut. Additionally, it includes a mail client that lets you send the encrypted texts by e-mail to anyone who also has a copy of XIU and knows the password you used. |

I wrote it only to view my digital camera images (jpeg files) and flip them or reduce their size when necessary without using the software that came with the camera. WebCounter is a console application that runs as a service, counts the TCP connections to local ports 80 and 443 every 120 seconds (default) and writes the number of unique connections to a text file (webcounter.txt) formated by a template (webcounter.tlp) that you can edit. That textfile can be used in any web server page to show the Current Visitors Online. Only tested under NT 4.0 sp6a |

O programa f a c t u r a m i n i não é um programa de facturação como, por exemplo, o f a c t u r a f á c i l do mesmo autor e muito menos é um programa de contabilidade. É um simples programa de emissão de facturas com uma base de dados de clientes, destinado a facilitar a vida a pessoas que habitualmente criam as suas facturas com um processador de texto. Permite criar facturas e imprimi-las ou gravá-las em ficheiros PDF (Portable Document Format). Todos os campos de texto do f a c t u r a m i n i são configuráveis e pode facilmente emitir facturas em outras línguas ou emitir outros documentos, tais como notas de lançamento ou recibos. Incluída está também a possibilidade de criar cartas (de 1 página apenas), gravá-las em formato PDF ou imprimi-las. Não necessita de instalação. Basta colocar os ficheiros na mesma pasta (folder) e correr o programa. Devido ao seu tamanho, pode mesmo correr a partir de uma disquete. Não necessita de registo ou de outra formalidade para ser utilizado sem restrições. É completamente gratuito. |
